Ecoble: How Can You Question Climate Change Now?

  • Joe Luman · 8 months ago
When did our Ice Age End? Was that the beginning of Man Caused Global Warming? Does climate change over time? Absolutely. Is Man the cause of this never ending change? Absolutely not! To think that man has that much control over God's creation, is ludicrous. Should man take care of God's creation to the best of our ability, balanced by God's desire for man to multiply and prosper? Absolutely.

Of course there is climate change. There always has been. Come visit me in Ohio. I will show you where glaciers many years ago dug up the terrain. What a great scam. Convince people that climate change is something new. Genius

Twenty years from now, absolutley no one will be talking about global warming. Their main condcern will be how to heat their homes and how unaffordable food will be since we will be faced with chronic shortages of oil and oil based products. Our primary focus should be finding some alternative economical source of energy regardless of the carbon levels they have.

There has always been climate change. The south coast of England was warm enough for the Romans to grow their beloved grapevines... They don't grow there now because the earth cooled down. It's just warming up again. It's a cycle. Has gone on forever and will continue. Oil is not an issue, 25 years from now all cars will be electric. Of course that will create some other as yet unknown problem.

In addition to concurring with the two other comments, was this photo taken in the summer?

May the climate Nazis have their knavish tricks obfuscated.

As an Environmental Science teacher, I often find it difficult to separate science from politics. In the last two weeks I heard a report that the arctic Ice sheets had returned to the 1978 levels. At that time all the "scientists" were wringing their hands about the oncoming ice age. Now its all about global warming and the poor polar bears, which seem to be doing just fine. You never see Al Gore during the winter, especially this one which has set so many record cold readings. Like always the earth's climate is changing. It always has and always will. Where can it go but up and down.

Since only the arctic cap his melting, is climate changing only in the northern half of the globe?

Here in Florida we had a hurricane type storm in the 1st week of May. It was the third most damaging storm in Central Florida History!
The storms get earlier each year and stay around for much longer time periods causing much more damage.
This year the ocean temperature is already a full degree Farneheit warmer than ever before in the Atlantic off Central Florida.
We also had one of the worst droughts this Fall and Winter.
Anyone that denies Climate Change is a fool. Climate Change should ne renamed "Earth Changes" because that is really what is happening. Planet Earth is changing and not for the better.

Wasn't 1978 the height of Artic Sea ice when everyone was worried the next ice age was upon us? It does not seam fair that a graphic comparing an abnormally high period of sea ice be compared against today. The real question is how would a 50 year average sea ice limit compare against today's ice cap?
