Last year, my car which avgs 37mpg, used 8.25 BBls. I would need at least 32 trees just for me assuming 70 years of perfect crops. Assuming I traded it in on one of those Jettas getting 49mpg thats still 6.25BBLs per year. I would still need 25 trees assuming perfect crops.

There are better alternatives whose processes need to be refined for better production. i.e. algae
